“Thumbs Up” — Sculptural Holder, Magnet & Wall Hanger

“Thumbs Up” — a small sculptural object that quietly turns into something useful.

This piece started as a simple idea — a decorative wall hanger. But somewhere along the way, it grew into a playful character with its own personality.

The hand was sculpted entirely from scratch in ZBrush — not scanned, not copied —
carefully shaped to balance between realism and a soft, slightly stylized form.
Almost like a child’s hand, but expressive.

And expression is the core of this piece.

There are two versions:
– one with an embedded neodymium magnet for mounting on metal surfaces (like a fridge)
– one with a clean cutout for wall mounting

The magnet version became something unexpected —
a small emotional signal you can leave in space.

A quiet “Thumbs Up” on the fridge.
Or maybe turned the other way… depending on the mood.

At the same time, it works beautifully as a jewelry holder —
rings naturally sit on the fingers, turning storage into a small display.

The wall-mounted version is surprisingly practical:
– in the kitchen — perfect for potholders
– in a workshop — holds safety glasses effortlessly
– near the entrance — for keys or small items
– on a vanity — for jewelry

It’s a simple object, but it lives differently depending on where you place it.

And yes — in reality, it turned out even more charming than expected.
