Spikelets Ring
“Spikelets Ring” — custom sculptural jewelry.
An openwork ring built from repeating organic elements inspired by the structure of wheat spikelets, with interwoven forms creating a continuous ornamental pattern around the band.
The pattern forms a layered lattice, where individual strands interweave into a light yet structured surface, allowing the ring to breathe and interact with light.
The edges are framed with a braided contour, giving the form a sense of completeness while maintaining the openness of the central pattern.
Originally developed as part of a custom project, this design was later refined as an independent piece and is now available as an original digital model.
The concept and visual direction for this piece were developed in collaboration with my wife, Anna Yurchenko.

The image below shows the original 3D sculpt using a sculptural shader, highlighting the openwork structure and fine interwoven details.
For publication and sale through my Etsy shop, the geometry was carefully reviewed and the model was prepared with production in mind,
including attention to the thickness of the finer elements and the overall structure of the ring.
