Photorealistic 3D Model of Sofa “Julie”

Convertible sofa bed designed for interior visualization and product rendering.

The model represents a convertible sofa that can be transformed into a double bed, making it suitable for both living spaces and multifunctional interiors.

Special attention was given to the soft surface behavior and natural fabric deformation. Many of the folds, wrinkles, and subtle irregularities were sculpted manually to achieve a more realistic and tactile appearance.

This approach allows the model to better simulate real upholstered furniture, especially in close-up views and detailed interior scenes.

During the final stage of the project, additional detailing was created using sculpting techniques in ZBrush.

The grey base material renders help to clearly reveal surface nuances, including fabric tension, compression, and natural imperfections that define the realism of the model.

This level of surface detail is particularly valuable for high-resolution rendering, close-up shots, and premium interior presentations.
