The project was created as a custom sculptural jewelry piece made for an individual order, where the initial idea was developed into a fully realized sculptural composition through author interpretation.

The figure of Sisyphus was approached not as a symbolic abstraction, but as a physical presence — a strong, well-defined male body captured in tension and movement. The anatomy, gesture, and interaction with the surrounding form were carefully refined to convey both effort and control.

The composition is built around the relationship between the figure and the mass of the stone, forming a compact relief that emphasizes depth and sculptural contrast within a small-scale object.

The result is not only a narrative reference, but a self-contained sculptural form with a distinct physical presence.

The interpretation emphasizes the physicality of the figure, aligning the mythological subject with a contemporary aesthetic focused on the male form.
