Male Torso SculptureThis sculpture was created as a complement to the “Female Torso Sculpture”, which was the original idea from the very beginning. …but I'm glad that this sculpture has gained a lot of popularity and positive response. *** In ancient Greek art, the nude male figure was associated with triumph, glory, and power. With this sculpture, I wanted to capture the beauty of the male form at its most refined. It is created in the spirit of classical art, as if the figure were carved from stone. — January 2022 — |

From Digital Form to Physical SculptureAfter the digital stage, the sculpture becomes a physical object through 3D printing. Here are a few variations showing how the same form changes with different finishes. The first version is painted in Vintage Bronze with metallic accents that highlight the details. |

Another beautiful option is Bright Bronze — with a smooth, reflective finish that resembles real cast metal. |

An example of how the sculptures in Matte Bronze and Bright Bronze look within a real interior. Both finishes work beautifully — the choice depends on your personal preference and the atmosphere you want to create. |

…and a truly one-of-a-kind piece — created using rainbow filament… The flow of colors is unique, making it impossible to reproduce in the same way again. * This sculpture has already found its home. |

Flexibility of Scale and MaterialOne of the unique advantages of digital sculpture is the ability to explore different sizes and materials without changing the original form. The same sculpture can exist as a larger decorative object or as a small, more intimate piece — each version revealing something slightly different. Here are a few additional variations, including a smaller version printed in translucent smoky black resin, as well as a white Antique finish that emphasizes the form in a more classical way. |

The story of this sculpture begins with the “Female Torso” — the original work that shaped the idea. After completing it, I was inspired to create a Male Torso as a complementary piece. |

Together, they naturally form a harmonious composition. |

Sculptures in a Real Interior SettingThese sculptures are not only objects — they become part of the space, interacting with light, materials, and atmosphere. |

Where the Story Continued…Although the Male Torso was originally created as a companion piece to the Female Torso sculpture, it unexpectedly became the starting point of an entirely new collection. During the printing process, one of the sculptures didn't turn out as a finished piece. Rather than discarding it, I deliberately reshaped it by cutting the upper section into an organic, sculptural opening. That transformed the failed print into the very first planter, originally intended for succulents, giving the sculpture an entirely new purpose. The very first planter quickly found its new home, encouraging me to continue exploring the concept. Over time, it evolved into taller sculptural vases designed for dried flowers. Eventually, that single experiment became the sculptural vase collection you see today. Only afterward did I adapt the same idea for the Female Torso sculpture, creating a companion series that shares the same artistic language while preserving the unique character of each figure. Looking back, it feels less like a mistake and more like the project quietly discovering its own direction. |
