Custom Lamb Figurine — Toy Production Digital SculptingCustom digital sculpting project for toy production. This figurine was developed as a master model for a children’s toy, commissioned by the company CaaOcho (Canada), known for producing toys made from natural rubber with a focus on material safety and tactile quality. The starting point was a physical gypsum sculpt provided by the client. Rather than adapting it directly, I rebuilt the form from scratch through digital sculpting, using photographic references to refine proportions, improve surface quality, and prepare the model for production. A significant part of the work focused on the wool structure. Each curl was individually sculpted and carefully arranged to achieve a consistent visual rhythm — larger forms in central areas, gradually transitioning to smaller ones toward the edges. Depth, spacing, and interaction between elements were repeatedly tested through physical 3D prints and adjusted across multiple iterations. The client maintained a very precise level of feedback throughout the process, requiring multiple refinements of form, proportions, and surface behavior. This resulted in a highly controlled and production-ready sculpt, where visual softness, clarity of detail, and manufacturability are carefully balanced. The final model was prepared for 3D printing and subsequent casting in natural rubber.
