Reconstruction of the sculptural composition “Friendship of Peoples”

The presented sculpture is a part of the restored sculptural composition from the last century, which was almost completely destroyed to this days.
In total, the fountain consists of 5 pairs below, which stand around the pedestal and hold hands. And one key pair on top of the composition.

In this topic, I present to you the upper pair from the whole composition.

This part of the sculpture was completely destroyed. I restored it partly on the basis of old photographs that have survived from that time, and partially on the basis of my vision and imagination.

I participated in this project as the chief sculptor-restorer.
