These sculptures are part of the lower circle of figures from the restored composition “Friendship of Peoples”.
I want to show you it in more detail. Small remark to this sculpture: …for this pair also was difficult to determine what exactly was in their hands in the original. But studying the symbols of Central Asia, I figured out that the boy was holding a bouquet of cotton flowers, and also I put in hand the girl a bunch of grapes. It will be a symbol of harvest and fertility. |
