Bee Signet Ring with Faceted Surface — Custom Jewelry Design

Gold signet ring built around a combination of geometric surface and sculptural detail.

The upper part is shaped with a faceted structure, which creates a more dynamic surface compared to a traditional smooth signet.
This contrast becomes more visible with polished metal, where the light breaks across each plane.

The bee relief is recessed into the top, with deep oxidation used to separate it visually from the surrounding gold.
This helps keep the detail readable without making the design feel overloaded.

The side of the ring transitions into a more textured surface, giving a slight shift in character between the top and the band.

Designed for a Van–Arnold Jewelry workshop as part of custom production work.
