Antler Skull Sculpture

This sculptural composition explores a post-apocalyptic atmosphere and the tension between nature and civilization.

The idea for this piece emerged from an image of something abandoned and left behind — an object that once had meaning, now partially eroded and slowly reclaimed by natural forces.

The form is built around antlers emerging from a skull, placed on a cracked stone surface partially covered with sand — like a fragment of a forgotten monument reclaimed by time.

This work is not about aggression or decoration, but about presence — something that remains after everything else is gone.

At an earlier stage, the idea also developed in a slightly different direction — as an unusual jewelry hanger inspired by natural antler forms.

That version evolved into a sculptural object where function and form briefly intersected, before the concept shifted further toward a more symbolic and autonomous piece.

The erosion of the base, the flow of the form, and the upward movement of the antlers are all intentionally shaped to create a sense of quiet tension and balance.

Every detail was sculpted consciously, with attention to how the object feels as a whole, not just how it looks.

This is a personal project, developed as an exploration of form, atmosphere, and meaning through sculptural language.

The digital sculpture was later materialized as a physical object using 3D printing and manual finishing.

3D–printed decorative sculpture with elk antlers and skull in a post-apocalyptic style.

This sculpture was originally created as an unusual holder or hanger for alternative jewelry (rings, tunnels, chains), but it also evolved into a sculptural decorative object.

Another version features a wide round stand, which can be used to store additional items such as piercing jewelry — studs, small earrings, and similar pieces.

This version of the sculpture also includes a cutout for wall mounting, allowing it to function as either a tabletop or a wall-mounted sculpture.
